"The crackling open of the theatrical curtains of city of life reveals the inhospitable sands of this reality; from which arises a human shape; a reflectional symbol of humanity in a perpetual, spiritual and contemplative thought. Behind the human shape, on these barren sands, are only shadows of existential footprints that have been made during this lifetime. Then with a merest motion of the hand, a spiritual transition is made, and the reality of this reality is torn apart by a creature possessing the withering fires of illumination; revealing an experientially higher spiritual dimension into which humanity can escape.

in zoom out i had erotic feelings with the hand and the "head" =P but now that i see it...its so wonderfull, i like the "city" ande the "man" jumping...awww...

how much time do you spend on one of these drawings?

very lovely pic. i like the 'layers' of reality that are pulled back to reveal a rather arid environment. this reminds me of dali and magritte maybe. haha...maybe rodin too with your choice of title.

beautiful gradiation of colors.. i'd like to 'advance critique' but you know what; 1. i'm not qualified and 2. this is your style and it simply rocks. whatever you do to it can probably only make it better. ;)
